Last updated: April 2026Welcome to Flip NG, a platform connecting buyers, listers, and requesters across Nigeria in a trusted marketplace. By using our platform, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Flip NG's services (web or mobile), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. User Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent if younger.
- Use your real name, accurate contact info, and provide truthful listings.
- Not use the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your login.
- You agree not to share your account credentials or impersonate others.
4. Platform Roles
- Listers can create listings for items or services they want to sell.
- Requesters can post specific needs they want fulfilled.
- Buyers can browse listings and purchase items/services.
You may act in more than one role but must respect each role's responsibilities.
5. Listings & Content
All content (photos, descriptions, messages) must be:
- Truthful and not misleading
- Free from offensive, illegal, or copyrighted material
- Not promoting violence, hate, or illegal activities
Flip reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these rules without notice. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users — reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours, including removing content and ejecting repeat offenders.
6. Transactions & Payments
- All payments must be made through Flip NG's approved channels.
- Flip may hold funds in escrow until both parties confirm fulfillment.
- External payment arrangements are done at your own risk and are not protected.
7. Disputes & Resolution
- If a dispute arises, you must report it through the platform within 48 hours.
- Flip will review the case and may issue refunds or take action at its discretion.
- Decisions made by Flip are final in platform-based disputes.
8. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Post spam or unsolicited ads
- Use bots, scrapers, or hacks
- Attempt to defraud other users
- Harass, threaten, or abuse any user
- Circumvent the platform's payment or communication systems
Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
9. User Conduct
All users must:
- Treat each other with respect
- Deliver what was promised
- Respond promptly to communication
- Use Flip NG only for lawful purposes
10. Account Suspension or Termination
Flip NG may suspend or terminate your account without notice if:
- You violate these terms
- You engage in fraudulent or unsafe behavior
- You abuse other users or Flip's systems
11. Limitation of Liability
Flip NG is a platform, not a party to individual transactions. We are not liable for:
- Items not delivered or as described
- Payment issues outside our system
- Loss of data, reputation, or income due to using the platform
Use of Flip is at your own risk.
12. Privacy & Data
Your privacy is important. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how your data is collected and used.
13. Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. If we do, we'll notify users by email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
